Chemicals and Research and Technology
In the production of each product, there are component, for each of which materials have been used, in the beginning of the production of which materials, technical knowledge has been used. In other words, the prerequisite for the production of any raw materials is the discussion of research and technical knowledge, and since the components of everything are chemicals, so continuous, specialized and abundant research on different chemicals to achieve different technologies for manufacturing and production every commodity is needed.
Universities and research institutes are the mainstays of the research sector and researches are constantly working in this direction. Iran also has many talented researchers in this field to be up-to-date in the technologies required by its society, who are constantly engaged in research.
Chemicals, like the puzzle pieces of the research department, are placed in the formulas of researchers to reach their magical destination, which is to discover the final formulas for producing a new substance and product, and certainly every society with its growing need for chemicals researchers and researchers need to achieve this.
Without chemicals, production loses its existential nature, in a short explanation, all part are composed of combining chemicals with each other, and also without the bridge of chemical research, the desired result of technology production will not be achieved.
Iran, with its diverse and abundant mines and very rich sources of oil and gas, is a rich source of chemicals, which is like a paradise for the research sector and the product of this research to product chemical raw materials. Iran not only to meet its need for the country’s manufacturing sector, but also alone can meet a large part of the needs of the people of the world to produce the goods needed in their daily lives and Iranian researchers in this regard are constantly experimenting to achieve this technology.
For example, one of the research works of Iranian scientists on microcrystalline cellulose is known as Avisel. Due to its properties such as non-toxicity, renewability, biodegradability, biocompatibility and mechanical properties such as high surface area, it is widely used in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries as a binder, anti-cake and fat substitute. At present, the field of pharmacy, especially the application in the binder of tablets, has the largest share of the Iranian market that most of these needs are met through imports. Therefore, localization of technical knowledge of this product is one of the important measures in the field of pharmaceuticals.
According to the above example, research on chemicals to achieve raw material technology in the economic dimension and to meet the needs of a society is of great value in the growth of the country.
