Description
Antimony trioxide:
It is a white, water – soluble powder with the formula (Sb2o3) and is formed from the reaction of antimony chloride (Sbcl3) and water.in the flame retardant compound, including halogen compounds, it is usually used on the basis of chlorine or bromine and on borates. The combination of halides and antimony has synergistic effect and is a key factor in flame retardation in polymers. These delays are used in electrical, plastic, adhesive paint, sealant, rubber, textiles, leather and coating, as well as glazing in glass, enamel and ceramics. Some special pigment for plastics, plastics, adhesives, textiles, paper……. Contain antimony trioxide.
Antimony trioxide is an effective polymerization catalyst in the production of polyethylene terephthalate ( PET ) and rubber vulcanization and a friction additive in car brake pads.
