South Pars Gas Compllex

The south pars gas field in Iran – the northern dome of Qatar, is the largest independent gas source in the world, which is located on the border between Iran and Qatar and jointly extracted by Iran and Qatar.
This gas field contains 8% of the world’s total gas reserves and 47% of Iran world’s total gas reserves, and its products are:
Supply of gas required by the country in the sectors of injection into oil fields, supply to oil units and power plants, gas supply to domestic – commercial units, supply of feed to petrochemical complexes and export of gas, gas condensate, liquefied petroleum gas and sulfur.
This huge complex consist of 24 phases in which 14 gas refineries are located and 80% of Iranian gas is produced and supplied in these gas refineries.

Tabriz Petrochemical
 Tabriz Petrochemical was approved for construction in 1987 and in 1996, its first production unit entered the circuit called Olefin (ethylene – propylene – butadiene), after that, polyethylene and polystyrene were put into production under the license of Italian TPL and Technip of French in 1998, also, its aromatic unit was put into production circuit in 1998 under the license of BASF Germany. Butadiene extraction and ABS production units, which are the first development plan of the complex, entered the operation stage in July 2003 under the license of Krupp Koppers Germany and now these quality products are being produced with all their might.
